Gladiator2

I had some fun with this one but I still don't like the crowd in the background, thankfully that's where Gaussian Blur comes in!

I love the way you have selectivly used movement blur, and not just applied it to the whole image. it works really well.

Thanks Jayster for anyone who's interested: copy the layer that you are going to blur (in Photoshop) apply a 0 degree motion blur, then add a mask to the top layer and paint out the bits you want to stay sharp- using a 50% brush allows you to do this in a 'soft' way that keeps the character of the blur. I know, I'm an anorak.

Woa! Someone's in some serious trouble!

Love the digital technique. Thanks for explaining how you do it! I feel like I am logged onto "The Digital Tip Of The Week"!

Gladiator battles seem a bit unfair when only one of them is armed. I like the concept on this one. Nice.
